Welcome to the Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre
Welcome to the Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre, a Brisbane City Council facility proudly managed by the YMCA of Brisbane.
The Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre provides aquatic programs including aquatic education (Learn to swim), aqua aerobics, squad swimming, birthday parties and recreational swimming. Also onsite is a purpose built YMCA gymnastics centre.

Pool Policies
Honesty Honesty is the best policy.
- Only enter the pool area if a lifeguard is on duty.
- Children 12 years and under must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a person 18 years or older.
- No diving allowed in all pools.
- No alcohol or glass allowed.
Respect Please show respect for others and YMCA facilities.
- Follow all instructions given by lifeguards so everyone is kept safe.
- No dunking, pushing, dangerous play and inappropriate language.
- Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose or discharging bodily waste in the pool is strictly prohibited.
- No gum or food allowed close to the pool deck.
Caring We care about your safety.
- Walk slowly on pool deck.
- Swim nappies or rubber pants are required for all non-toilet trained children.
- Children 5 years and under must be within arm’s length of their parent/guardian or supervising person who is 18 years and older.
Responsibility Be a responsible member of our facility.
- Please shower before swimming.
- Report any inappropriate behave to YMCA staff.
- Place your rubbish in the bin.
- Be sun safe.
Additional Conditions of Entry
- People with medical conditions (ie: epilepsy, heart conditions, etc...) must report their condition to the Duty Manager or lifeguard.
- No smoking allowed within the confines of the Centre
- The Centre takes no responsibility for lost or stolen belongings.
- Patrons enter the centre at their own risk. Patrons release the Centre from any and all injury that may be sustained whilst they are at the Centre and consent to receiving any medical treatment that the Centre's staff may reasonably consider necessary or desirable in the event that they suffer an injury whilst at the Centre.
- Permanent banning may apply for inappropriate or antisocial behaviour, illegal activities or failure to follow directives of staff.
Failure to comply with these conditions of entry may result in the individual or group be refused entry to the Centre, or being asked to leave. Refunding of any monies will be refused.
