Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre (WIRAC) is the community’s one-stop destination for family fitness, sports activities and quality swimming education!
There’s something for everyone at WIRAC, with a 24/7 gym, four types of pools, and a stadium of sports courts.
We capture the community spirit of Warwick by offering supportive, welcoming and fun programs for infants, children, teens, adults and seniors. Come and meet the WIRAC team and join our fitness family!
WIRAC is owned by Southern Downs Regional Council and managed by the Y Queensland (YMCA Queensland).
Monday - Thursday: 5:30am – 6:30pm
Friday: 5:30am – 5pm
Saturday: 7am – 1pm
Sunday: 7am – 12:30pm
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please be advised that Southern Downs Regional Council is investing in important upgrades at WIRAC, to ensure the facility remains safe, reliable and enjoyable for our community for many years to come.
Our Aquatic Hall — including the 25m Pool, Learn to Swim Pool and Rapid River Pool — will be temporarily closed from Monday 2nd March, with reopening scheduled for Monday 1st June 2026 (subject to change).
While we know this may cause you some temporary inconvenience, completing these upgrades in one coordinated period helps avoid future disruptions and delivers long-term improvements sooner.
Importantly, the rest of the centre will continue operating throughout the works, including our Gym, Group Fitness Classes, Courts and Hydrotherapy Pool.
