Splash into Summer Swimming

at the Y Victoria Point!

At the Y, our swimmers are trained by qualified coaches, and learn the skills to progress from beginners to competitors. Our classes are fun too, so your child stays engaged while they learn, and enjoy their progression. Whether you’re looking for a playful activity for your child, or a starting point for a lifetime in sports, the YMCA has what you need. From babies to teenagers, and whatever their skill level.

Two special offers to get your kids in the water!

FREE Swimming Lessons for Children 3 years & Under

Introduce your little one to the water with FREE swimming lessons at the Y Victoria Point! We welcome you to join us for a weekly morning swim class, Monday to Friday — available until the end of September 2025 for a no-commitment start to swimming and water safety.

We offer a high teacher to child ratio, so you can rest assured that your child will receive the attention they deserve.

You will join your little one in the water, for their comfort and safety. This is also a great opportunity for first-time swim families to meet other parents and build connections in the community.

Please book in your FREE Trial Class to get started. On completion, Reception staff will book your child in for their FREE weekly classes!

2 Weeks Free + Free Swim Pack: Total Value $70

Enrol your child 3 years and older into regular classes at the Y Victoria Point before the end of October 2025, and we'll give you their first two lessons FREE, PLUS a FREE Swim Starter Pack (Swim Cap and Goggles) to get them going.

Swimming lessons are crucial for Queensland kids. Our warm weather and outdoor lifestyle means lots of time in and around pools, bays, and beaches. Drowning is a constant risk. Water safety is a vital life skill that provides children with the confidence and ability to be safe in and around water, significantly reducing the chance of accidents.

Please book in your FREE Trial Class, in which your child's skills will be assessed. You can then enrol your child into the appropriate level. You'll get their first two classes for no cost, plus they will receive a FREE Swim Starter Pack!
